Winter outdoor activities in and around Tromsø
You can also head to Narvik, about three hour’s drive south of Tromsø, and try one of Scandinavia’s largest fall heights ski slopes at Narvikfjellet Ski Resort (you can take the Arctic Route transportation between Tromsø and Narvik, daily between December and March).

Go hiking in evergreen valleys, along the coast, or to the top of a mountain and get the best views of Tromsø and enjoy seeing how the sun never sets but slightly touches the horizon before rising again.
If you are looking for more adventure activities around Tromsø, join a 3-hour Rigid Inflatable Boat excursion to Hella, a scenic spot on the east coast of Kvaløya, located only a 30-minute ride away from Tromsø. Another nice summer excursion is to explore Tromsø city by e-bike!
