The time you choose to go dog sledding will affect your experience by a lot.
Morning tours allows you to catch a bit more daytime light, as tours leave Tromsø city center earlier and you will be at the dog camp light in the period of more daytime light:

PS.: The only difference between the two tours mentioned above is that tour 1 starts with the dog sledding first, followed by lunch and tour 2 starts with the lunch, once guests arrive the dog camp, followed by sled. Both tours leave and arrive to Tromsø at the same time.
Afternoon tours give you the opportunity to sleep a little longer, something handy especially if you have been on a northern light tour the evening before:
Tour with and without transport included
Most of our dog sledding tours we offer have bus/ mini-bus already included on your tour, to take you from Tromsø city center, to the dog camp location. However, if you wish to drive to the dog camp with your own rented/ owned car, we offer you our own Dogsledding at Aurora Husky, with no transport included.

Seasonal tour variations
Dog sledding changes completely with each season:
- Fall (October – November): Before (enough) snow arrives, you can try wheel-based dog sledding on special carts, the fun is the same and the experience is very similar to the snow version one. - Winter (December – March): This is the period where it is expected to snow enough so we can exchange the carts for the sleds.
