This privacy policy informs about how Best Arctic AS collects and uses personal data.

The general manager is the data controller for the company’s processing of personal data. The day-to-day responsibilities are delegated to managers and administrative staff. However, this delegation only covers the tasks and not the responsibility.

This policy contains information you are entitled to receive when data about you is collected from our website (cf. Section 19 of the Personal Data Act/Article 14 of the GDPR) and general information about how we process personal data (Section 18 (1) of the Personal Data Act /Articles 12-13 of the GDPR).

Personal data is not disclosed to third parties unless otherwise stated here. The data controller at Best Arctic AS is responsible for ensuring that the privacy policy is kept updated on the company’s website.

 

Information about customer and contact person

We collect information such as name, country, birth date, job title, telephone number, address, company name, e-mail address and invoicing details from our customer’s contact person for the purpose of maintaining the customer relationship. Customer lists and/or invoicing details are available to our administrative staff and data processors.

The legal basis for collecting this data is Section 8 (a) of the Personal Data Act/Article 6 (1) point b of the GDPR.

Best Arctic AS collects the contact details of our customer’s contact person(s). We receive this information from the customer’s manager or the contact person(s) at the organization. If you have objections to this, you may contact Best Arctic AS. The contact details will then be erased in accordance with specific rules.

 

Website and social media

It is voluntary for those who visit our website or social media to provide personal data in connection with services such as receiving newsletters and invitations to seminars/meetings. The legal basis is consent from the data subject.

 

Data processors

Our data processors are BitSenter AS for operation and maintenance of CRM systems and servers, Syskon AS for Office365 and our website and Simployer AS for HR and deviation systems. Questback is our data processor for surveys and registration for courses, events and seminars. Super Office is our data processor for sending newsletters.

Information collected in connection with the operation of the website is stored on separate servers operated by Syskon AS. Only Best Arctic AS and Syskon AS have access to the information collected.
