Å i Lofoten
The end of the road

This village is named after the last letter of the Norwegian alphabet, as it is the last village on Lofoten’s west coast. If that is not the true story, it is a great invented one at least. Stay over in Å in one of the many rorbuers, enjoy the world-best cinnamon buns (made in a wood- heated oven), and hop on one of the ferries for a daytime tour to the surrounding mountains and islands, such as Varøya.
