Traveling with children

We have booster seats available onboard.

If you need a baby seat, please inform us before travel (info@bestarctic.com) or bring your own.

Luggage transportation

Each passenger may bring one item of easy-to-manage hand baggage, which must fit under the seat or in the overhead rack, as well as an item no larger than height + length + width = 200 cm/23 kg.

Unfortunately it is not allowed to transport sports gear with you (such as surfboards, golf equipment or bikes).

On our route, we have a fixed price of 290 NOK for adults. Children under 15 pay half price 145 NOK, and children under 3 travel free of charge.

Does the Arctic Route run in all weather conditions?

The shuttle typically runs in most weather conditions, but extreme and unsafe weather conditions may lead to its cancellation. In that case, you will get a notification on our side.

We drove from Tromsø to Sommarøy. The route was definitely the most beautiful we have experienced so far. Stunning landscapes unlike anything else. The bus was clean and very comfortable. Everything was punctual and booking the tickets was easy. The driver was friendly, spoke some English, and drove very well. Highly recommended!
